LPG Car Conversion Jeep Patriot 2008 2.4 Limited

Hi,

Please help!!

I bought my beloved Jeep back in January this year, my first and I love it, I bought it assuming I would get near the 27 MPG of an old Golf I had......unfortunately I am getting at best 23 MPG and it is killing me.

So the obvious....should I go for LPG?.

Questions though:
1: I have been told the engines run too hot on LPG, is this true?
2: How much should I be paying for a quality system
3: Best place for the fuel tank? Replacing the spare wheel or under slung?
4: Annual costs to have the system checked?
5: Can anyone recommend a fitter in the Leeds area
