They are either refurbished/new/discontinued models and alot of them finish under £500 inlcuding delivery.
They alos have other stuff like PDAs, PCs and laptops

I bought a laptop for £450 (incl delivery) from them a few weeks ago and was very impressed, it looked brand new - but has 1 stuck pixel (which i didn't even notice at first)

The spec was:
AMD XP-2500 Mobile CPU
512MB Ram
40GB Hard DRive
15" Screen
CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive
onboard: sound, svideo connection, USB2, VGA, Parallel and PCMCIA slot

I then got a 22mb/s wireless network card for £10 and it works great!
Probably a better spec and better quality than other 'new' laptops under £500

Also the best part is that it comes with a 1 year warranty from HP - so you are safe fo a year, unlike most stuff on ebay

There is the same fujitsu laptop at Dabs.com for £469 BUT this one has a DVDRW drive AND Wireless card. I just bought one for my brother in law...they are a bargain!

Im not sure if this ones already been posted but its pretty good value, I would add the CDRW option for £481 rather then the DVD Rom for £445

Somerfield are advertising a Medion laptop with wireless internet and CD/DVD writer, 15" screen, 6xUSB2.0, 40GB HDD, 256MB DDR, XP Home.

If you know anyone that works for Somerfield you can get this for £450.

Kwik Save in Scarborough had poster up in window advertising similar deal for Medion laptop going for £499 when I passed last night. No doubt all large Kwik Saves will have same offer. Didnt get chance to see the full spec.
