Have booked our campsite for the week after next, near Saundersfoot in Wales. A gorgeous area that we knpw well but havent been to for quite a few years. Tarquins first proper holiday:)
Tappers - I love Saundersfoot and surrounding area :D really beautiful there. Give me a wave when you drive past Llanelli! :rotfl:

Glorious day here again, but I'm stuck in the office. We are all plotting various ways to escape :rotfl: ;). Popped to Aldi this morning to get Super 6 stuff, and need to go to Tesco tonight for food shop. Also need to dye my hair tonight!

OS wise - dishes washed this morning, food shops, LO spaghetti for lunch, probably veggie chilli from freezer for tea.

    Have a good day all

    Hi all.

Hoppy Birdday Tappers and Snowy Owl.

Hilstep aw no, another fall.:( Take care; glad you dodn't hurt yourself too much.

JackieO poor little Mikey - I can well imagine he was terrified!

First day of Mr LW's course in Reading today; he left here at 06:00, and rang me at 08:48 to say he'd arrived safely. No idea what time he'll be in tonight, so I've made a quiche, and cooked some spuds up to do potato salad, so that if he's late, I can have my dins, and put his on a plate and serve it as soon as he gets in. It's going to be a very long week, but he has no choice but to do the course, it's necessary to keep up with the new technology.:o

It's just lucky that I have Ted staying at the moment. He's totally useless at helping round the house (he can't hold anything in his little paws):rotfl: but he's great company - he's sprawled out on the sofa, snoring at the moment!:rotfl: In fact he's dreaming - he's making little "wuff, wuff" noises in his sleep!:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Another one who has been MIA back for the summer! Judi - so lovely to "see" you!

Happy birthday to Taplady and SnowyOwl

It's the summer holidays... bliss! I got so many LOVELY presents from my class at the end of term, which is really unnecessary but obviously I accepted them graciously. I received some beautiful flowers, which are filling the sitting room. Absolutely glorious. I haven't devoured the chocs yet, but I have just used a little notepad for my first "to do" list of the summer!

DH and I spent the weekend in London (on a deal!), which was lovely especially as we saw things which neither of us had ever done before.

I'm starting my summer job next week in a grain store for Harvest. I need to pay my car off in October and we have a leaky back door and garage roof which will need sorting out at some point. Joy. I appreciate that I'm very lucky to get a second, seasonal job to try to pay for these things but we do try to budget as much as humanly possible.

In fact, I was singing the praises of OS to someone earlier today. They couldn't believe how "little" I spend on food, but I know it could be less. At least I meal plan and shop to a shopping list as opposed to what I fancy. In fact, I did a "big shop" this morning and managed to use a voucher which got me £7 off. Not too bad, especially as I needed large bulky items.

Anyway, I'll let you all get on with your days.

    Happy Birthday Tappers and Snowyowl!

Lovely day here today, I'm a very nice shade of pink after being out in the sunshine with pup all afternoon yesterday!

Not much to do today, so after work will sort out living room, give the walls a wipe down, move the old telly and put new curtains up.

Dinner will be jacket potato again!

    Have a lovey day all

Its not too bad here, windy, lots of cloud, and an odd patch of sun and blue sky every now and then.Got washing on the line, just debating whether to do another load. The housework is mostly done,so may do some chopping in the garden at the front.Yesterday DH,DS2,DGD and I went to visit DH auntie & uncle,so that DGD could meet her GGAunt and uncle, they have never seen her so were really pleased we'd gone.
Had a quick to cook tea of lamb steaks, couscous, &potato salad. The couscous mountain has gone down a lot,so have been checking AF-want to get my stores in soon. Not decided on tea yet-might be a frittata and salad,I have lots of eggs.
DH & DS2 have just been home for their dinner as they have been picking up stuff on this side of town,DH wanted some L£msip as he is full of a cold.Said he felt like going back to bed,but they need to finish the job they are on and get some money in.The client has said we can have a wardrobe and chest he no longer needs once the job is finished.DS1 is going to have them in his room,he needs more space to put stuff-just has those temp rails atm.:T
Right, better go and do stuff:D Hugs to anyone in need xx

    Afternooon all,

Happy Birthday to Snowy and Tappers:beer:
Tappers we used to go to Saundersfoot when we were kids to a camp called Lydstep Haven I used to love it. I remember going to Caldy Island on a boat trip were the monks make their own chocolate:)
JackieO Hope Mikeys alright what a shock, poor little mite

Had a busy day ebaying and still more to do.
Tea will be chicken breasts as I have a couple that need using up, probably with salad.
Still need to make a store cupboard list, goodness knows whats lurking in the back.
Got a nasty email from my manager saying she feels very let down but I'm not going to let it bother me. I felt let down by her all the time I worked there so that makes us even!
No news from our viewers on Friday as yet. But I suppose there is time yet.
Anyway off to the post office with more parcels. Enjoy your afternoon
