I just don't get why comparison sites seem to have to have such stupid adverts. It's like they're actively trying to only aim themselves at the sort of moron who gurgles like a child at a fat man singing opera.

The ad that really baffles me at the moment is for some perfume (I think) which uses the "perfect" song, the one that Asda used a few years ago. Every time I hear it I think Asda, probably not what the ad agency wanted really. Why recycle a popular and successful ad theme song for something else.

I'm waiting for the inevitable youtube mashup of the meerkat ad with Sergei as the meerkat cannonball, mashed up with Gio Compario getting bazookered so it looks like Sergei gets fired at him.

With Churchill the dog firing the bazooka?

I may be being thick, but whats the relevance of Sue Barker in the advert?

So that's who it was. I've been racking my brains since I first saw the advert trying to work it out - knew I knew her, but couldn't put a name to the face.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
