No internet for a few weeks - suggestions for a substitute?

We're moving house and will be out of internet for a few weeks; I was thinking of taking out 'The One, All You Can Eat' monthly rolling mobile contract from Three and then tether that to my laptop. (£25 pm)
Any other suggestions for a substitute to tide us over until the landline is fully up and running?
Thanks in advance

You really want to sign up to a contract for 'a few weeks'?
Maybe you'd be better paying for a tethering booster on your current mobile phone and use that as a modem for this short period? Saves having to get into a contract to get a dongle.
I know T-Mobile do a 'pay per day' arrangement where you buy a dongle for £10 and then use credit to buy access as you need it (£2 for a day, £7 for a week, £15 for a month - subject to FUP of course, which is much lower than on a landline system).0 -
Buy a Three Mifi with data bundle, PAYG - might be a bit more than a rolling AYCE contract, but ALOT less hassle in the long run - and you can use it with anything you want...0

Don't buy anything until you know which providers will give you a decent 3G signal at the property -that's the only factor that really matters if you are only using it for a few weeks. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

If you get a good enough 3G signal why not use your phones data connection, also assuming you have a good phone package with unlimited data or something pretty high. You can connect your phone to your pc and use your phone allowance on your PC/Laptop. I've often used this method when my internet has been down.0
