Why sellers should be able to leave negative feedback...

Options
Just had one of my BIN items bought by this guy:

Needless to say I won't be sending the item.

Anyone have any other advice?

So how exactly would leaving a neg help you?

If buyer doesn't pay then do a full NPB, if all those he hadn't paid had done that instead of leaving false positives then he probably, couldn't have bid on your item. (assuming you have preferences settle exclude people with 2 or more strikes)

I do not see any reason here to want the ability to leave a neg.

Post the item tracked? assuming he pays... Or do a NPB...
What feedback is this buyer leaving?

    Run for the hills.

thing is though if he has already paid he could still leave neg feed back anyway , if you don't send the item.

Good point, just seems daft to me that sellers can only leave positive, it defeats the idea really. Suppose I'll have to wait for 4 days now.

My initial thought is there is no way I'm sending the item, buyers have all the power on ebay and this buyer clearly doesn't play nice.

How do I see what feedback he has left?

There was never any real point of buyers getting negs, except to make us sellers feel better. Buyers look at feedback for a seller before they bid and so negs can warn them off a poor seller, we sellers rarely get the opportunity to get our buyers until it is too, late.

Click on the tab 'feedback left for others' . That is actually more important for a buyer than the feedback they receive.

but you only get to see that feedback after they become your buyer, so what help would it be? can you cancel sales with no negative comeback on the seller?

If this guys ID starts with "alex" I should be a bit careful, he has only had 7 feedback (false +'s) but has bought about 56 items on July 21 and 22, mostly computer related items.

PS just to add he also had a very good + in Jan 2012, so just possible the account has recently been Hacked?
