Good luck on the level 3's Mrsspendalot. I have decided to just get to the end of these courses (60pts total over two level ones) and be done. With every thing else, have lost all interests in studying. Really had to push myself since having to give work up.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

Well I have about £3.30 between my two bank accounts. Cant touch a single penny from now till at least the 3rd April, and I haven't even had this weeks money yet. Have fingers legs and eyes crossed that maintenance goes in on Friday, as I don't think I can draw what food I have in out till next Tuesday, and definitely cant draw the milk out that long. Will be lucky if milk sees us though to the end of tomorrow night. I have £1.25 on emergency electric (sorta loath to top it up as having a normal quarterly meter installed tomorrow), talk about ending the month by skin of my teeth, just hope the skin is thick enough to stretch out this last week.:eek:19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

Well today i have had my electric token meter changed over to a normal standard quarterly meter. This should help cut down on the cost of my electric. Tomorrow morning when it has been 24hrs, then I will see how much has been used for a normal day's usage and I should be able to work out my new electric outgoing budget.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

Well done Penny. One thought though, instead of paying quarterly, why not go monthly direct debit ? Saves you from having to find 3 months worth of electricity in one go...0

I will be paying monthly, but I will also get billed quarterly. My has been posted, just cant fully remember the title, something like budgeting on a shoe string. Once I have my first bills though, I can then see about shopping aroudn for a different provider, as I will know what my usage will be.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

Well sold two of my videos direct from home, but caved in with the cash and blew my £2 on 2 tubes of pringles. They were on special at asda and its been a while since I treated myself and the kids to be honest. So we shared the two tubes between us, whilst watching videos to check they worked in good condition to sell on ebay.
Kids feel like they are really helping out by watching the vidoes, infact they have taken to watching one in the morning whilst i am still asleep (they wake at 5) and placing it on the correct pile (sell able, non sell able).
Also taken a check of how many KWh i used yesterday with new normal meter, I have used 9 in 24 hours, anyone know if this is average or not?19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0 -
A day of interest. Ok so i got my letter from Halifax offering me a partial refund on my charges as full and final settlement. Haven't decided yet whether to accept. Also I have been on the backs of a certain events management over compensation for spending a number of hours stood outside of a venue which I purchased a £39.50 ticket for, plus had £20 travelling costs and £100 board to cover. Now in my naivety I only started I believed i should receive at least Half the cost of the ticket back, in reality i suppose i could have requested at least the cost of board for that first night. So the fact i am having to hound them is really taking the biscuit, especially when I know compensation has already been paid to everyone (95%) else.
I will learn to stand up for myself. But it is hard, since I am such a door mat.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0
