i can get enough food to feed us all for £86 on tesco (theres 5 of us) and that even includes some biccys and crisps, plus a 5kg box of chicken breasts at £20 so £106, the problem is if you have more money than that you will spend it if you go into a shop and you will have to go into a shop at some point for fresh fruit and veg, milk and bread. If you acually only have £121 then your more likely to stick to it, maybe take £125 in cash out and leave your bankcard at home that allows you a little bit extra.
I've been trying to find it on the tesco website and I'm really struggling, would be perfect for us as we mainly eat chicken instead of beef etc. this thread has inspired me to try and get our shopping bill down to under 100 next month, if possible even below £75 but we'll see. Going to have a go at making a few meal plans for different expenditures and see what I can come up with and post however I do believe they will pallour in comparison to those posted already. bb if your using meat free sauce (i've never heard of this) is there are reason you couldn't swap to value pasta sauce? it would bring you under budget with enough left for a banana lol
Thats some cheap cabbage lol, everytime i see a post from you it makes me wish i had an aldi.
Btw for anyone like me who doesn't have an aldi i just notice tesco have cabbages 2 for £1, or there white one is on price drop starting at 31p (don't expect a few big one for 31p lol)DEC GC £463.67/£450
