theres some awful nice sheds out there ;)

let me know where you decide to put it.

thats went right over my head and i have no idea what you mean, but were all happy for some new cheap recipe ideas :)

:osorry what I mean is to buy everything I use for a weeks meals would cost more than £7 but can then use them so that it works out £7 a week or less

Like to night doing a concoction as hubby calls them

    100g diced beef 25p ( portioned from a 400g bag ys costing £1)
120g tomato puree 1p? ( from 850g tin from AF last week for 3 for £1)
    I onion 15p
Then I just throw in what I feel like
    Ginger -1tspn(5p)
    Celery Salt - 1 tspn(5p)
    Salt
    Pepper
Handful raisins 10p (from a bag that cost 69p)
    2 packs cous cous 17p ( 12 packs 99p from AF)

Not decided on vegetables yet as only just put meat on, but with dig around in freezer and fridge - see what needs using up if anything so will come back to you with that.

Will serve I think with cous cous for a change since got plenty from AF and they were 12 packs 99p and I will use 2 so 17p

Now I know this will come to nearly £1 for just evening meal but it could be cut down and fancy touches left out or it could be portioned to do two nights depending how much water I add to the stock done that before now - no room in freezer to do it tonight and in reality at this moment in time I do not need to. We could share just one pack of cous cous if we needed to but not so filling

(I am actually taking a chance as cous cous contains paprika as colour and I am allergic to it but usually when added as a spice so hoping so little in this I will be ok....it also if flavoured with herbs and spices it sounds lovely)

See am not sure if this should go here or start a store cupboard menu thread or maybe there is one ( only found thread about whys and reasons for one so far)
Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

oh the shame! After reading this great thread I've realised I'm a great big fat waster. I can eawily spend £100 to feed 2 of us and my recycling bin is exploding with unused veg. Thank you so much for the thread - you guys are an absolute inspiration.
I hereby pledge to stop being such a wasteful muppet.
Now if I can only get him to eat cheese and fish.....

    THANK YOU!
