Went in the other direction to the vets I can confirm the opposite side of the A40 tailed back as far as the eye could see towards the Denham roundabout, been out doing errands because as Nikkilala says the Olympic Torch is coming our way tomorrow and we will be trapped :eek:

Odd thing this morning, cant get on MSE through the my normal IE8 - just get a blank page so I've gone through Safari instead.

Just checked my JTD receipts form Sunday, noticed it now says within 24 hours - sure it used to say within 36 hours. As expected I've got to do some returns later this week.

One of my receipts gave me 65p

Nothing of any interest on any of the receipts except one of the mature cheeses - extra strong. Buy it in S for £4.49 with beer - Tesco its £2.46 so a good £2.03 difference. So 5 beers for £14.95 plus cheese for £4.49 plus something unbranded to get the total over £20 and you should get an almost full value Bm

Yes I got the wrong one - I can see the problem now.

"Tesco Finest Extra mature Norfolk thick cut pork CHOPS - Charles Bowes".
If it is matching I might have another go at getting the right one - only got £1.60 in JTD toward them though

I did the same last week, thought I would try it out and bought pork chops instead of loin steaks, very nice though we had them for tea last night and they didn't mess up my jtd;)

last week I had problems using some toothpaste MOCs in Superdrug - the store refused them as its on offer anyway.
So I contacted SD HQ via the website. I said if the store does not accept MOCs they need to have a notice by the till.
I got a reply asking if the MOCs had the Valdiss code on - yes they had 2 identifying codes on them.
Anyway I had another email back today and they are taking the matter very seriously and they are sending me a gift card :T
Very surprised at this but a good result
