I was just looking on the T's site as well and it clearly shows a pic of Weetabix, but when you click on the cereals there is no mention of Weetabix

    Cancel that actually

Just realised when you click on the cereal bit, there are 6 options underneath!

So it must be all cereals :j:j:j

    I'm liking this one

In the t&c's the only exclusions are "cereal bars & Tesco "Free From" cereal range'' Looking good!!
Tetley softpack 160 teabags look good too at £3 on offer, and it says 'buy one and save 10p per litre' at the top of the page.:j:j:j, so buy 5 packs for £15, get 50p off your fuel.
Sealed Pot Challenge No 9 516 target £250

    2 years 'fag free' :j:D

I don't know it very well myself and that's where the problem lies, hence why she was just fobbing me off. :(

Not necessarily, its worth a try at least its not even costing you a stamp! It would be difficult for any of us to write it for you, as we dont know the details, and the devil is in the detail. Just pretend you are writing a post to the elite, you do some brill posts on here!
I've just had a better idea, why dont you stick them on ebay, if Clarks say they are 'well worn' you might even get more for them than you originally paid!....I know you know how to do that:rotfl::rotfl:.
:( I'm afraid Clarks aren't first in the queue for handing out refunds :( My shoes had a broken tree after 1 month - all I got was 'they are a fashion item & not intended to last':eek::eek: :mad::mad:
I like the eBay route but in a different way. My friend had a new lancia & it had fault after fault & he was getting nowhere with them. So in the end he worded a For sale advert listing all the faults & told Lancia it was going in the press. Everything was resolved very quickly after. So the Facebook rant is good as no company likes bad press ;)

I don't believe it, I've done it again. I've put my dinner in the oven without turning it on. This is what happens when I get stressed. It's not so bad when I realise after 5 minutes, but 45 minutes...

Basically I volunteer for an animal rescue who rely on donations and fundraising. It's been going since 2003 and we've always done well.

However, recently donations have become less and less and things are now at a critical point :( The lady (now my friend) who owns the rescue has done all she can and I've done my best to support her with thinking of ways to raise money etc and sending her my tesco goodies :D my friend always puts the animals first and often goes without so I send these things her way, and try and donate to the rescue when I can, but it's not enough anymore and things are very bad :(

So.... I was wondering, does anyone have any ideas on ways to raise some much needed cash? Or are there any secret millionaires out there that would care to sponsor us!? :rotfl:

Start off doing a carboot sale often the organiser will wavier the pitch cost for a charity, have donation buckets as well as selling stuff, maybe have 1 or 2 of the animals there too, also give out leaflets explaining what you do, it may not bring in a fortune but you may well get a few hundred and raise awareness
Ask on freecycle for bootsale items explaining what you are doing :)

Also try and get the local newspaper interested - see if they will run a feature on the animal rescue tto drum up interest/support and explain your plight.

That's just not on. They have to obide by the law and if something is not fit for purpose then it's not fit for purpose and they have to either repair, refund or replace (at least that's how I understand it). The manager was quite clearly walking all over me today.:(
