quick question peeps....what do we do if we "cough cough" find a receipt with a clubcard used but cant "remember" the last digit of our clubcard ?

do you have to try 1, then 2, then 3 leaving a day between each ? sorry to sound dim but i havent actually used the price pooper since they dded the clubcard bit

also saw in Mr T today for those with loreal mocs the smaller 150ml tins of mens deo are £2.50 each or 2 for £3.00 so if you have 2 mocs they are free.

I haven't done it but from what I've read I think thats correct but you don't need to leave a day inbetween just hit the back button and change the digit and try again until its accepted :)

My S's still being generous with the beers. Bought 5 packs £15, 2 packs of Naploina spaghetti £2.95 each (BOGOF in Tesco) came to £20.90p. After the vouchers I paid £3 and got a £10 back!! The till assistant was very impressed. She had so kindly put my coupons in as an override 1 by 1 too!

ok, I have been debating for a while whether to ask this... but you're all so helpful I am praying that someone will have some fantastic suggestion.... :)

Basically I volunteer for an animal rescue who rely on donations and fundraising. It's been going since 2003 and we've always done well.

However, recently donations have become less and less and things are now at a critical point :( The lady (now my friend) who owns the rescue has done all she can and I've done my best to support her with thinking of ways to raise money etc and sending her my tesco goodies :D my friend always puts the animals first and often goes without so I send these things her way, and try and donate to the rescue when I can, but it's not enough anymore and things are very bad :(

So.... I was wondering, does anyone have any ideas on ways to raise some much needed cash? Or are there any secret millionaires out there that would care to sponsor us!? :rotfl:

    Hi Magicowen

    Just sent you a PM

Thanks QPR10 - thanks to FK i have many a coupon so I will use them to buy what I can for the car boot - do things like Lenor and that sell well then I take it?
I shall check with receptionist at work tomorrow - I've left now - but it def should have gone out recorded, fingers crossed it will get through the letterbox tomorrow! :)

Thanks everyone again for the ideas, I'm frantically googling for local businesses that may help and if anyone knows of any fields to rent in the South Shields area it would be much appreciated, unfortunately had more bad news and we now need to come up with £560 in the next two days! Shame they won't take some doubled up tesco vouchers!

Anyway, thanks again everyone and sorry for hijacking the thread! Your ideas have been a great help!

Dont know its years since I did a boot sale but its something most people buy in the shops so I would assume so if you can get it cheap sell it cheap but still make a profit

Has your friend tried asking local vets, Pets At Home etc even supermarkets with notice boards if she can put up flyers ?

Thanks for the replies re Mexico :T will show DS3 when he gets here later. Question is how can he get gf to have jabs without letting her know the honeymoon destination

no sooner had I posted I smelt a horrid smell :o the pressure cooker had boiled dry so my spuds were burnt and stuck to the bottom of pan  the lovely stalkless brocolli and carrots had to be binned 'cos they would have tasted rank  soooooooo quick trip to chippy

For tea I had steak pie (not burnt) chips and mushy peas with gravy yummmmmmmmmm :D

Easy, book two separate appointments (are they with the same doctor?) Make sure his is first and when he is in there, ask the nurse to not let on to the GF as it's a secret. I'm my experience the first appointment is just a consultation, they issue you with a prescription which you collect and take back to a follow up appointment to have. Normal run of the mill jabs (tetanus) they have in stock and can give you there and then...

LOL, just found my debit card that I lost last night. Oh well.
