I managed to get 6 boxes of the 10p tea bags (but for some unknown reason I was only charged for 5.)

There was a rather loud mouthed SA in the aisle where the tea bags were and she had one of those annoying accents.

It went a little something like this with the SA at the top of her voice or shouting.

SA: Save some for me!
Me: Grinned and nodded
SA: 10p, can't grumble at that, you better leave me one. (not in a nasty way)
SA: I think I better get one now *picks up box and scurrys off to stock room*
ME: *Swipes rest of them in to basket and makes dash for tills* I get to the tills to find motormouth telling her colleagues how much they were.
SA: *runs off shouting at the top of her voice to her colleague further up an aisle shouting 10p whilst waving box in the air*
Colleague: Shouts back and asks her to get him a box
SA: Scurrys off to get him a box, moments later she shouts over to him that there are none left. She comes back down the aisle and sees me and points to me, smiles and shouts "you got them all"
ME: Wishing the ground would open up and swallow me up as 30 pairs of eyes (customers and staff) look right at me.:(

I know T's staff are not supposed to partake in any bargains/special offers whilst on duty as they are to be left for customers but I didn't begrudge the lady (or any other staff member a box of tea bags or whatever else me be on promo/glitching etc). What I do object to is the sheer greed by some of them who clear the shelves (all the easter chocolates at my local Extra as an example)

The staff in my local store are mostly local so they are right down to earth, rough round the edges kind of folk so I feel more comfortable there, just not tonight.

See post below. I don't mind, and if she'd asked for a box before I had started paying for them I'd have quite happily of given her another one.

It only annoys me when sheer greed by the staff comes in to play.

Think I'm going to log off and have an early night (but will be very MSE and make sandwiches for tomorrow's lunch as the morning will be a rush). Got a 9am appt for final baby scan and consultant appt :T 36 weeks so he/she will be really easy to see. Will keep my eyes peeled for a pair of nuggets :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi All

I think there is a small glitch still on Activia snackpots.
Very embarrassed on my receipt but away for a couple of nights and just didn't have time to sort out shop. I wi try and post and maybe somebody can work it out.
I brought 8 for £3.00 but I think compared at full price.
