Went to T after work to double up a £5.00 clubcard voucher to a £10.00 frozen food voucher.

The SA on customer service desk tried to give me a trouting. Conversation went like this

Me: Can i please double up my clubcard vouch er to a £10.00 frozen food voucher
SA; Show me where it say you can double up for frozen food
Me: (Pointing to the chart stuck onto the counter in front of SA stating what vouchers you can double up for) Uh there
SA: Muttered something to other SA about being so busy that she had not had chance to read the new offers

Exit: 1 SA with a very red face and me trying my best not to laugh

    priceless :D
    Great story :T
Evening all, had to skip most of the pages, theres too many to ctch up on. Did manage to get some of the t bags & some boots sun cream.
Not having a very good time at the moment, took oh to the hospital for his foot redressed and the gangrene in his foot has got a lot worse, they are talking about ampuating the leg but have said they'll wait until we come back off our holiday (18th august) because it's the 1st holiday we've had in 6 years and will be our last if they do amputate.
He learnt to walk with 1 false leg although quite wobbly but I don't think he'll manage with 2 false legs.
I thought once he's had his transplant everything would be great but they just seem to be getting worse again.
Oh dear, really sorry to hear this BSB. Will hope that the break away gives you both a much needed rest and that they can still treat your OH's leg.

I'll look for your post in the morning (doubt I'll be up at 10.21pm)... I always work out a deal on T -roll is paying 30p a roll or less, although loads of "offers" show it as 40 odd pence a roll:eek: That is on branded t-roll.

isn't sports mixture some kind of sweets? Was it for a lot?

Sorry qoc you beat me to it. Yes Msm has Maynards Sports mixture 1.48 each or 2 for 1. So guess the offer didnt kick in.

That sounds about right, he said something about her paying £2.96 when it should have been £1.xx (but you're saying it's £1) and she got about £2.9X DTD back.

Interestingly, the sheet the CS guy has to fill out for DTD was covered in lots of yellow SEL's stapled to it but I'm boogered if I could see what they were for.:(

    Good Evening Elite

    Firstly, Congratulations to 76rosie

Paid a visit to T's this evening I didn't do a targeted shop & went too early for whoopsies.

Did go to reduced to clear section & found KP nut mix reduced from 1.99 (which I thought was horrendous) but a bargain at 40p salted peanuts, almonds & cashews. Picked up 5 pks still plenty left.

Also on way out noticed 2 stacks of new realfood mags managed to grab several:j:j ;). Haven't read back so not sure if anyone else got them yet piccy below:

I managed to get 6 boxes of the 10p tea bags (but for some unknown reason I was only charged for 5.)

There was a rather loud mouthed SA in the aisle where the tea bags were and she had one of those annoying accents.

It went a little something like this with the SA at the top of her voice or shouting.

    SA: Save some for me!
    Me: Grinned and nodded
SA: 10p, can't grumble at that, you better leave me one. (not in a nasty way)
SA: I think I better get one now *picks up box and scurrys off to stock room*
ME: *Swipes rest of them in to basket and makes dash for tills* I get to the tills to find motormouth telling her colleagues how much they were.
SA: *runs off shouting at the top of her voice to her colleague further up an aisle shouting 10p whilst waving box in the air*
Colleague: Shouts back and asks her to get him a box
SA: Scurrys off to get him a box, moments later she shouts over to him that there are none left. She comes back down the aisle and sees me and points to me, smiles and shouts "you got them all"
ME: Wishing the ground would open up and swallow me up as 30 pairs of eyes (customers and staff) look right at me.:(

I think that it means 2 for the price of 1 - ie BOGOF (although why they dont say that I dont know). She should have got 2 x 1.48 back so that sounds about right. Free sweets !
When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"
