Without the banana I'd still have had 9 items because I too go for 10 items now as you just don't know what will compare.
For instance my shops today included Huggies Size 4 Super Dry nappies and it doesn't appear on the results page at all. I don't understand how so many other nappies appear and these ones don't
I'm not going to complain though. SEL was £6.48 reduced to £5 and it scanned at just £4Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
With regards the Eight Grapes in a bag . . . .
Have had a few comments regarding these and usually say "I'm cooking a meal for friends tonight a kinda "Come Dine With Me" sorta thing and giving the wife the night off . . . " - "The grapes are for decoration on the Starters, do you know how long it takes to peel those little blighters, 8 can take me a good 30mins . . . "
All is said with a complete serious face and in a totally earnest manner - for some reason there are never any comments when I present my 4 mushrooms and half a carrot.
Been a while since I was on the site and been fun reading up todays posts.:)

I howled at the bold bit :rotfl::rotfl:
Re: the grapes. I used a couple of excuses [STRIKE]today [/STRIKE] yesterday because 2 SAs asked me why I needed 4 grapes
I've gone with "I have some cheese/crackers left over from last night and these will finish it off nicely" and "My baby has started solids and I want to see if she likes these"
it really is none of their business though. Next time I think I'll say I'm teaching my hamster how to juggle :rotfl::rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Have always tried to keep it light and giv'em a laugh (with me or at me, their decision) but its amazing how often you end up with a regular S.A and its always a plus if they remember you in a positive fashion. LolI'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony

Catch you all tomorrow, I'm hoping we get at least one more day out of thiese glitches because it's producing some cracking APGs and wombles

OMG, caught up at last, just about time to go back to work................ well after tomorrows trip to Inversnekkie, can anyone tell me where the new Asda is, just roughly please, TY.
Or come out of Tesco In$hes (don't do the big roundabout) just the mini roundabout take third exit off (In$hes church) carry on that road. Next mini roundabout turn 1st left, next mini roundabout 2nd exit. Now you should be at big roundabout take first exit and straight ahead from there (straight over all the roundabounts after that)I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

Google "tesco price check" and just enter the details they require and wait 12/24 hrs to see if they will let you print off a free discount voucher. Its worth the little effort, just to see how it works.
Any questions, just drop me a pm.
