I just keyed in a couple of wombles I picked up on my last shop. One gave me back £3.xx (no multibuys on receipt.)
The other gave me £9.xx back and has 3 multibuys on it. One is for "pizza and coke £4". Does anyone need more pizza and coke ? :rotfl::rotfl:
Off to check if there are additional glitches afoot here.......0 -

2x asda back bacon £2.37 /2 for £4 have come back as 4.74 each, compared £4 at both S & T - £5 at waitrose na at morries.
not huge but still it's free money lol0 -
I do mix in some small value items too. Like 4 grapes in just about every transaction. I've got close to a whole bunch now
just a note ive found myself doing. i used to watch sa scanning my shop to make sure there is no double scans. now i watch to make sure all items are scanned to make sure there are 8 items.:D0 -

I panic when I have more than one of the same type of thing. I had a 'conversation' with a bloke in Asda about the fact he was quantity scanning the mullers as one flavour. Mentioned that their stock system would be wrong but he didn't care. Tried to be polite but in the end told him I needed the items to be scanned as per the right flavours for the APG to recognise them. He got very antsy but I wasn't about to lose money because of him. I followed someone elses advice and now I set my shopping out in dribs & drabs and split up the items so they have to just scan them properly.
Has anyone received their P&G Olympic picnic set yet? I'm a couple of points off being able to order it but I don't know if it's any good and if I should get the towels instead. Any feedback at all from anyone? No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -
Good morning to all :beer:0

Heres a breakdown of the multiibuys mentioned above and if they work in our favour or not.
Sadly I don't think they are worth doing but I am highlighting them just incase anyone sees the multibuys advertised instore and thinks about adding them to their basket
"Pizza and Coke for £4"
This seems to be a 1.25litre of coke scanning at £1.38 and a CYO Pizza for £3.50
The coke is comparing at full price of £1.38 vs £1.50 in Ts, and N/A in M and S
So you get a whopping 3p back if you target against Ts (£1.50 in T less 10% is £1.35)
The pizza is a non-comparing item
"Toiletries 2 for £3.00"
This shopper has bought Colgate Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste Tube (75ml) and Sensitive Multi Protection Toothpaste Tube *75ml) both for £2 each
They compare at full price of £2 each (not the £1.50 each you pay)
Comparisons against T
Whitening at £1.40 and Multi Protection £1.39. So less the 10% A's is comparing £2.00 with £1.26 for each one so you get back 74p for each one.
Thats 2 tubes of toothpaste for 76p each (but you have to buy in multiples of 2)
Comparison against S and M
S and M are both selling these at £2.79 each. Do not add to a targetted shop against S or M as A is cheaper by more than 10%
"Suncare 2 for £12"
The following are all £7 each in A and on offer of 2 for £12. The APG compares at full price of £7 for each product not the £6 you pay:
Garnier Ambre Solaire Clear Protect Spray SPF 30 (200ml)
Garnier Ambre Solaire Clear Protect+ Transparent Body Protection Spray SPF 50 (200ml)
Nivea Sun Invisible Protect SPF 30 (200ml)
Comparisons
Ts is selling all for £7 each. You get 70p back on each making your cost price £5.30
S is selling the Garnier at £7.49 each. You get 26p back on each making each Garnier £5.74
S is selling the Nivea at £7.25 each. You get 48p back on each making each Nivea £5.52
M is selling all for £6 each, You get £1.60 back on each item meaning in a shop against Ms you only pay the equivalent of £4.40 each
Like I say, nothing earth shattering going on here. Best deal is the Nivea/Ganier suncare when you do a shop against Morrisons (but remember Morrisons is no good for the coke glitch)
At least this womble earned me another £9.xx APG ir not much else. I reckon I am over £50 on wombled APGs this weekend :T:TApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

:money:
I wouldn't be so under-handed
But that is what I sometimes do with my wombled APGs. I plug all the receipt details into different tabs, with the tabs going from left to right in time stamp order. Then as the 3 hours passes I go through the tabs one by one and hit "submit"
Is that sad??
PS good night :wave:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Can't argue with free money, lol
Although I have to ask, are you sure it's coming back as £4.74 EACH? That can't be right, can it?
If its £2.37 for one then surely it is comparing both packs at a total of £4.74
If it is comparing £4.74 against £3.60 (S and Ts price of £4 less 10%) then you get £1.14 back on a £4 spendApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

LOL
Earlier today I had bagged up my shopping and was about to pay when I decided I would put my bags into the trolley. I was glad I did because I noticed a banana still in my trolley
I think I maybe sounded a bit too eager when I thrust it at the SA and said "this too please" with a slight hint of panic :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
