It probably would work. I did think about doing that cos DH likes those - but decided that it was better to buy standard square pizzas on the basis that the CA's were more likely to assume they were OK as the square ones all look pretty similar. Easier at the self scan too if a CA has to manually enter the coupon - less likely to look too closely at a square pizza box.

Thought I would post my shop from Mr T last night. Good job I had a nice SA to take all my coupons.

10 Febreeze Air Fresheners @ £2 - £20
10 Pizza @ £0.99 - £9.90
1 x value lemon Squash 29p

Total £60.19

Less Vouchers
5 x Fairy @ £3 - £15
20 x Febreeze @ £1 - £20
10 x Pizza @ £1 - £10
1 x £6 off wys £60

Total Paid - £9.19

I am hoping for a JTD capped to £10 when shopping compared to Mr S. Entered receipt on PP at about 8.30pm last night, watch this space.

All this and 60 Clubcard points, worth £2.40 in deals maybe, and a £5 voucher wys £40 for next week:rotfl:.

Apparently the whole system is knacked atm, leave till dinner time try again. If not sorted by then wait until the morning try again, if still not working then phone them back. That bloke actually seemed to know a wee bit more than the first bloke fingers crossed. It's at the highest level we are aware.

Thank you - we need suncream and the little ones are perfect for slipping into handbags - also don't forget to check the advantage card machine as I am sure hubsters card has a print for % discount on suncream - we are off to town this morning so I might try and see if it works.

I did think of another stratergy around this.

I had a look at mys this morning and I found a good few items with good enough price differences for a S v A shop to which you could add at least one shandy.
The idea being to still spend £20 and hopefully to still get a near enough full value BM. Ideally you want to add things we have MOCs for eg the Mcvs free cake bars, Cravendale 50ps, Mccains chips etc to bring the total down and then finally produce your previous BM so your finall total is under a tenner.

I also had a look at the potential for a S v T list but its change over Tuesday again so I am not sure wether the prices are right on mys.
But you could do the same sort of shop, spend £20 including the one and only beer plus other items that we have with MOCs - Mccains, Cravendale, Mcvs free cakes plus your previous BM. Hopefully with the same objective to get another near full value BM.

Possibly this has to to done after Wednesday when the T prices have settled again. Just a pity that there are not more useful MOCs about ....

This is a very sutle and legal way of "getting back" at Mr S - Ok they wont let us buy more than one beer now - thats fine, we will buy just one beer then with our shopping,but we can also use a previous BM voucher and if our sums are correct the catalina machine will still produce another large value one for the next shop

Two stores near me were very happy to let me take 5 beers through at a time - it seems very unfair that other stores are limiting to one per transaction
