Morning! ...still seem to be making lunches even in the holidays

Izzyb - yes the Father's Day 'stuff' has been reduced - pint glasses were 37p a week ago and I did see masses of them out (no sel) in my shop a day ago. The big choc coins were marked as down to £1, but that was with a double reduction so I think they are on the way down.
also yesterday DD got several metal Me-to-you 'best friends' keyrings bc 1592 light blue packaging for 20p each. Says £5 on the clip strip, but there was a white sel for 20p labeled '2 part key ring' on the shelf. Good for youngish girly birthday presents!
and wombled a £10 note!
...holding out til Thursday for any sort of shop though...
Fudge_Cake your quiche looked AMAZING!! :T0 -
Morning all - another lovely sunny day for me too. Loads of washing out on the lines already - I get washing fever whenever the weather is good and wash evrything in sight lol
Fudgecake - thank you for the warm welcome back. Yes, things have been hard for quite a while but hopefully I've turned the corner x
BTW, your food looks amazing. I love rustic:T:T Mine is more of the doorstop lead weight variety unfortunately. Family dread me saying I think I'll do some baking as they know what is usually coming their way:(:(:(:(0 -

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh haven't had a chance to sit down and relax all day!!! :eek:
I've literally just got in and was hoping that I'd found something new but I saw that it's already been reported
Story of my life!
The 2 litre Dr Pepper, Fanta, Lilt and Sprite are definitely scanning this evening at £1.26 bogof
I have to confess, probably a poor decision on my part
I found these in passing this morning on T.com but thought I'd confirm before posting. Got distracted then totally forgot about it and forgot my list when I went to T's :eek: But luckily as I'm out of Pepsi Max :eek::eek::(:(:(:( I visited the soft drinks aisle and spotted them
Only a few of the 'zero' sugar flavours on the shelf so only got 4 bottles but quite a few empty spaces.
Did LOTS of cooking today. For dinner I did a mixture of sticky teriyaki beef and roast chicken legs with new potatoes, sprouts, carrots, creamy swede mash and gravy. Simultaneously I made a quiche with fried onion (from a whoopsied root veg pack) MAM crispy bacon and some cheddar cheese from a block whoopsied to 9p :T;

and from the remainder of the pastry an egg custard tart;
They are both EXTREMELY rustic so excuse
:o But I love seeing other people's piccies so I'll share
Unfortunately I had major pastry shrinkage and as a result both couldn't hold as much filling as I'd hoped
:(
But they still tasted scrummy, even if I do say so myself
;):cool:
Hope all's as well as can be with you lovely lot....off to catch up with a cuppa
Looks delish - can almost smell it lol0 -
Morning everyone:)Beautiful day here today and can feel it's going to be a hot one, Don't think I'll be venturing anywhere very far today as know I'm going to be "trapped" by traffic with the torch and the olympics:( Saying that I have just noticed the possible Boots glitch, now I could be tempted by that;);)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

I THINK the Fathers Day chocolates had RTC yellow SELS saying "Offer ends 24/7/12"
If I'm right then we should all check the prices again tomorrow incase they are renewing the offers or reducing further (to 1p??)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Good morning everyone. Lovely and sunny here, the sun is right in my eye! Wish I could go for another bike ride today!
Just a quick question, anyone know when the next Homebase 10/15% off weekend is please? Pretty please "flutters eyelashes".What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
S has reduced the price of the Bavaria shandy to half price, now £1.49, so just 49p even when not BMing. Matches the T price and only a 50p differential now in the A price, so if you are getting this and hoping for a BM you may need to redo your sums/shopping list0

au98113 - I hope so! Might be worth a trip to a T with a scanner

Nikilala- how's the running going?? You still training?
