So Lance admits all and professes his admiration for Dr Ferrari.
Hopefully Lance will go to prison for perjury. He can think of his money and his prizes while in the showers to take his mind off the pain.
I don't mind the doping. It was the bullying, the legal threats, using the official body of the sport to protect himself and destroy 10s of careers in the process that I despise. All for his self-aggrandizement.0

Only the real Armstrong disciples will be surprised at this.
Most people 'knew' he cheated and that he had some unpleasant personality traits - after all this I still find it hard not to admire him.
There aren't many people I feel sorry for in the whole fallout - they were either doping themselves or complicit in it.
He's still not telling all the truth either.0

Armstrong was the best rider of his time on a level doping playing field, sadly if he hadn't of doped another cheat would have won. Everyone was at it at the time and surely the sporting authorities must have turned a blind eye, I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of people up on racketeering charges
Sad set of affairs, basically you can wipe out at least 10 years of cycling results as doping was so prevalent they are essentially a list of dopers.0

It's not the doping or the lying or the bully or the systematic destruction of his enemies so much as the extent of it and the ruthless use of the law and the sport to pursue people that were right
 Let him rot.0

            Feel for "Sir" Wiggo.
He's not been on particularly good form so far this year, and was not likely to win the Giro anyway, but to perform so poorly, even before the chest infection is a shame.
However seeing such a great sportsman in such a position on Thursday, is not nice.
Will raise a few dilemmas for Team Sky in Le Tour. Froome could easily have won last year, but dutifully followed team orders, but this year the route appears to be much tougher, and to try an accommodate both Froome, and Sir Bradley in the race could distract them from the ultimate goal.
Contador and Schleck A will be tougher opponents that last years field managed.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0

I don't buy into this thing that Froome would have won but for team orders. Wiggo is the better time trialler, Froome the better climber. This year I think the Giro only has about 20km of time trial so it was always going to be tough for Wiggo.
I've not looked at the Tour route properly. I think it's going to be close.0

Did you hear Uran say "I am not Froome" when asked whether he would go for the Giro while Wiggins was still riding?“I don’t know what will happen, but [Sergio] Henao and I are different than Froome. We always work for the team and we’ve never had any problems with the team,” Ur!n said. “We are not like Froome. I came here with the idea of helping the squad, whatever the goals may be. We shall see. We have to take it day by day.”
I believe that Froome was out for his own glory when he rode away from BW in the Tour last year & that this may have caused ongoing friction.0

Giro is a much tougher a course than the Tour. The climbs are more difficult. Which benefits those with the real climbing ability.0
