Tricky situation

Ah I see. When I got a crisis loan last week I was already on JSA.. but it had been suspended and sent for appeal. But currently I have signed off and have made a new claim for ESA.
I will give them a call on Monday and see if I am entitled to another one. Though am I better to wait until my gas and electric has nearly run out as not to waste their time?

Also last week when I claimed the crisis loan, neither prepayment meter were in the emergancy money. Both had £1-£5 left. And they still told me that because of this I would only be allowed to claim twice more.

because as you said you were not waiting to hear about a new benefit as the rules are different.

When you claimed they told you how long the money was for, you can claim after that date.

When you claim, they will ask if you have any metres,if yes, ask for money for the metr too but say the emergency on the meter is ok so your not claiming for that but still need meter money.
