Best netbook/tablet advice - thicky needs help!

I am considering either a tablet like the Nexus or a 10" Netbook, whilst the tablet is all new and signing and dancing, I wonder whether a netbook would be the more practical option ?, I like to keep up with everything whilst I'm abroad and I don't take my big laptop with me.
I am interested in folks opinions on Tablet v Netbook ?
Cheers.0 -
I would suggest go for laptop. Netbook may be too small for a person getting old.

And with upgrade ram yourself

With 2GB RAM, you might get away with not having to upgrade.0 -
Or if you spend a little more.
Wait for £259 ipad 2 16GB from apple refurb. (but you need to keep checking)
Or Open box Asus TF101 at £250

Or Motorola Xoom 2 £250 at carphonewarehouse

Be aware that, with a few exceptions, tablets require typing to be done on a virtual on screen keyboard which I find clumsy and awkward. If she does a lot of emails, she may find this a disadvantage
You can get add-on keyboards for the Ipad and some tablets have them built into protective covers for the screen, but then you might as well buy a notepad.0
