    Evening All

All washing line dried, ironed where needed and put away (gold star for me Monnogran!). Did this between coats of paint drying. The woodwork needs another coat tomorrow and then its easy emulsion on Monday hopefully. If I keep going at this rate I wont need the cleaning company to take anything away but a good clean is a bonus and want to get it done before they clean the carpets.

Ribs and curly fries for tea, DDs favourite so nice an easy. Going to relax tonight and probably continue reading 50 shades!

    Take care. XX

H accompanied me to soft play centre for party we had to attend, it was apparently "the longest two hours of his life" :rotfl: drama queen ;)

Done naff all OS aside from picking and shelling my peas. Having sausage sandwiches for tea for me and H :o will do better tomorrow ;)

Bitsy I can't be arsked to cook either, we have got a quickie tortilla pizza (tortilla topped with a little pasta sauce, some grated mozzarella, mushrooms and peppers from the freezer with sliced pepperoni on top) and a few oven chips.
Did laugh about H.... men are such wimps sometimes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening all,

Just sat down with my new free book on my kindle which I'm loving and even better cos it was free it's called Hostile Witness.
Haven't done a great deal today other than dry three lots of washing.
Having major knee pain at the moment, don't know what it is but haven't managed to do my walk the last couple of days which won't help my weightloss.
DH took pity on me and made tea, steak, salad and new potatoes and very nice it was too.
Had a bit of a dilemma. I had handed in my notice due to a variety of things that I won't go into but the main one being I was working in quite a unsafe environment and really felt uncomfortable. Anyway had a call mid week from my manager offering me a possible promotion but it would mean returning to my current role as the new job is being advertised internally. So I initially agreed to go back short term, but then got a message saying the new role has not yet been signed off and could be the end of August until it's advertised. Now I'm wondering if this new role will ever materialise as they have not been the most reliable employer in the past. Really don't know what to do as my instinct is strongly telling me not to continue with the current role. Totally Confused:o any advice much appreciated.
Hoping for another fine day tomorrow and plan to make roasted red pepper and tomato soup as I have a glut. Probably some home made bread.
I can feel the wine beckoning, have a good evening all

Julie sounds like someone might be telling you a few porkie pies just to get you to go back, so that they don't have to look for / train anyone else. If you don't feel safe in your job, then it is up to your employer to make sure that you are safe under the HS at work act

Thanks BB I think so too. Can't go into too much detail but working with very high risk people and the assurances I was given at the interview about never being left alone have just not happened I am often alone for long periods. Think I might have to go with my gut.
