Morning All
2 loads of washing done and on the line another in the machine then 2 more loads to do  It just appeared overnight as washing does :rotfl:It is supposed to be dry tomorrow so I plan to strip all the beds (Well they will strip their own beds and I will wash the bedding:D ) and that is another chore out of the way.
DH is blitzing the bathroom this morning and DS will be helping him in the garden later.
Had a great time at the lush launch last night ..no freebies though. DD and i sat and watched Monster in Paris when we got home and I can highly recommend it, such a good family film.
Redruby it all comes in threes so here's hoping you don't get anything else go wrong.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning All
FB - I am going to see Olly next week somewhere around Colwyn Bay? Hope you enjoy the concert.
Redruby - Hope nothing else breaks!
Bramble - Enjoy your time on your own but be careful and listen to Bitsy!
Woke to brilliant sunshine this morning so 3 loads on the line (stripped beds) and another doing its stuff in the WM, the weather has clouded over so I hope it stays ok till everything is dry.
Went to friends last night for tea and had a fabulous time - kids had DD and myself on the trampoline, feel I must get one of those!!
Having a decorating day, have sanded the woodwork ready to paint but have to get more paint for that first. Will do what I can before I brave Homeb@se.
Enjoy your weekends. Take care. XX0 -

Sun is out woop woop :j first load of laundry on the line.
Busy day here, local allotments are having an open day so want to pop along and out my name down for one. Niece and nephew are comng round (my mum is babysitting for weekend) and then me and H are taking all 4 off up soft play centre for a birthday party. Dog has been walked and cleaned up, she got filthy  so am about to dive into the shower.
Tea will be HM pizza. Treated myself to a McDonald's last night. Now I remember why I don't bother.....it was ruddy awful :mad:
Bramble please don't think I am speaking out of turn but if there is no chance of reconciliation then why are you allowing ex OH to do things like this? All it does is prolong the agony and give false hope. Not having a go but you seemed so set on the idea of no longer loving him......not sure you'll get that back just by him behaving a bit better IYSWIM
Flutterby have a good time :j
Redruby sorry to hear about your DW. Hope the potential replacement works out.
Hugs and spoons all round. Enjoy the sunshine if you have it :T
Not at all Bitsy! I understand totally, I have been totally honest with him and said all along i don't think my feelings will change. He's convinced if he proves he can change he can win me round and we can try again, I've been very clear with him today that last night was a one off, I'm fuming with him and clearly changing is not on the agenda for him!!
Think pup is staying with my today now as OH needs to sort out with his parents a few bits before pup can go stay with him. So another night chilling out with him tonight! I'm hiding away from the world right now!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Hi all,
Bright sunshine here woo-hoo....
Did our good deed for the day, helped MIL with church jumble sale - ladies all in their 70's and 80's do it so need some younger bodies to lug stuff around.
Back home now, need to sort the garden out, but will watch the F1 quallies first.
Hope everyones well.
Off to reload the WM and hang out some washing.
HM soup and bread for dinner.
Have a fab day xNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Afternoon All!
Towels dried outdoors for once - lovely! have folded the two airers in the conservatory and hope not to have to get them out for several days. Went to see friends new lab puppy this morning - he is just adorable! Her older one is not too impressed just now, so we had to make a huge fuss of him too!
Have just spent half an hour shredding docs from an old file - all dating from early 1990's so useless keeping them. Stopped me making a cheese sandwich, which would blow my diet on Day 1! Saw dr yesterday re swollen ankles and as I expected he suggested that weight loss would definitely help. When he weighed me I went white, as I realised just how much I've gained in the past year. Oh well...here goes! No dairy products and much smaller portions...and more exercise! I found my pedometer this morning, using that always makes me keen to just do that little bit extra walking!
Oh well, back to tidying I think!
Hope you are all enjoying a sunny Saturday for once.Resolution:

Afternoon all, very quiet here-hope you are all enjoying some sunshine :)Its not bad here but quite a lot of cloud-but its dry!!!
Had a nice lunch out yesterday with my old school friend. We worked out we have been friends for 50 years()as we met when she came to my primary school when they moved near to our house. We had the same coats and we ended up getting each others and our mums went into school to sort them out :DThe mums became friends too.Although she never really came back to live in our home town after uni ,we always stayed in touch and she was my bridesmaid.I couldn't return the favour when she got married as I was 8 3/4 mths pregnant with DS2:rotfl:
My throat felt a bit sore after-we talked so much.Did hm lasagne for tea-I was still full really so only had a bit.No cooking tonight,we're going for a pizza with our friends, then watching their sons band in Manchester.Need to make sure we get the last train home though, don't want to fork out for a taxi-most un OS.
Done a big shop today, freezer is full now.Tried to get things on offer.I'm stocking up while DH has plenty of work-being selfemployed you can never forecast any earnings too far ahead.
Hope you all have a good weekend x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

Is it me or is this thread shrinking?
Bramble: you do seem to be aware of the dangers but listen to Bitsy won't you. My DS1 has awful trouble with his wife's ex. He turns up on the pretext of seeing his children and then they can't get rid of him. It would be different if he paid any child support but he doesn't and my DIL is too frightened of him to make a fuss or go to CSA. My poor DS is paying support for his own daughter and also supporting his two step sons and, it seems, their father! The wretched man also turns up whenever his mad girlfriend throws him out and expects tea and sympathy and a few nights on their sofa.
So just WATCH IT.
beemuzed: So you have a pedometer. Good luck with that. I discovered that you can notch up a step by giving the pedometer a shake. Works well, I could lay back and watch TV or read and jiggle the thing up and down and reach the required 10,00 steps without breaking sweat.
Any more slimming and exercise tips needed, I'm your woman.
Lovely day here, all washing dried beautifully.:j The pile of ironing now back to its customary height.
All vegetables have now succumbed to the b****y slugs. And the tomatoes are looking very sick indeed.

Thanks Monnagran,
He's back at his parent's now, and I've explained to him that was a total one off and I won't be answering any late night calls or opening the door to ANYONE after i go to bed a night now.
Have managed to do 6 loads of washing over the weekend? although that includes dog bedding and loads of my bedding too. Should hopefully have a fairly chore free week. Changed my bed too, not washed the floors yet, might be a job for tomorrow.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
