No I didn't think the updates would take 5 years, but there have been a lot of updates in the past 5 years, including Service Packs. They can take a long time even if done regularly and I wondered how long 5 years worth of updates would take.0

One thing that made Dell tempting was that they offer software to transfer all your data from the old to the new machine quickly for about £38. That sounded a better options than spending hours and nights doing it.0 -

Not familiar with iTunes, but everything can be saved. Do you mean songs purchased from within iTunes?0 -

Windows Easy Transfer for transferring from Windows Vista (32 bit) to Windows 7
Of course this was for if you were transferring to a new machine. No need to pay DELL for free software.0
