    NSD today, not going out at all, 3 little ones are having a relaxed day and the big 2 are out playing with friends, and i'm having a cleaning day :D HM mince and veg from the freezer, will do it with some mashed potatoes.

    2 nsd here, almost went to mini tesco for milk and coleslaw (I'm addicted) but I figure we have a bit of milk, will last a few more days. So will not shop until Friday, and then we only need fridgy bits.

    Spent just under £20 in MR As today

    And also £5.01 in Mr S but the £5 was nectar points so not sure If I count that into my totals?

    It's up to you, but as it's £5 that hasn't actually come out of your purse, I wouldn't count it as money spent.

    craigywv - you could make up some fruit muffins and freeze them ready for when you need some in a hurry.

    Going to have to bow out of this month's challenge as I've got a few additional things to cope with, GC wise, and there's no hope of coming in under budget. Will be back at the end of August for the September Challenge and no force is going to stop me!

    Another £45 to add over the last 2 days..£10 of this was on minced lamb...sounds a lot but has made tea for 8 for 2 days
    Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies
    To include all Food,Toiletries and Petfood.

    Spent £2.99 on motorway services coffee :eek: (that was 1 coffee!!!!) and £3.00 on 2 multi packs of crisps from MrM's :o

    70p on a huge cabbage and a round courgette from local garden centre plus £1.98 yesterday at veggie shop to replace the salad that I bought from Mr M's on Friday that had "died" in my fridge - not very happy about that!

    bag of soup veg 11p
    diced pork 80p
    finest meatballs 70p
    bbq chicken breasts 80p (i did have 2 of these in my trolley but one vanished)
    value bacon 17p
    normal bacon 22p
    4 chicken breast 44p
    tatie and leek soup 17p
    steak pie 7p
    2 blocks of cheese 9p each
    sausages 17p
    pate 22p
    finest pork and red carmelised onion sausages 80p
    coleslaw and tatie salad 10p
    4 pork chops for 9p each
    2x 2 packs finest cheese cakes for 28p each
    12 value baps 9p

    i also got full price
    3 litres of milk
    bag of carrots
    2 bottles value lemonade
    3 value cola
    value yogurts
    2 bottles of squash
    value crisps
    7.5 kg bag of spuds
    and £2 on deodrant and wipes

    and 2 boys caps half price at 50p :)

    my grand total is £18.46

    needless to say i'm a happy bunny


    i also met another mse'r waiting for whoopsies, so if you met someone in the big tesco store in n.i that beings with C that was prob me :p
