NoWill make the area much better. Shame the Coldharbour estate is near by. I actually like New Eltham + Eltham. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

NoI would have thought that a hotel would have less of an impact in terms of smell, litter and other nuisance factors (kids tearing up in their Vauxhall Corsas with exhausts bigger than their heads, for example). A hotel in such an area is more likely to be targetting business than tourism, but it may be a starting point for improving transport links and attracting investment to the area. It can't be any worse, and there may be some benefits. Although the hotel itself might be an eyesore in architectural terms...Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

New Eltham is ok. I can see why they felt the need to start again.0

Yesthats not my issue though, living nearby its the extra traffic issue that will make the area worse.
Say it's 50 rooms and all the guests arrive by car. That's 50 arrivals in the evening and 50 departures after breakfast. In one day.
BK might - I don't know the location - get that in an hour.
Also a hotel will try to minimise deliveries etc at night as they won't want to upset their sleeping guests.
You can object if you think the parking / access / building height is out of keeping with the area but still indicate your support for a smaller hotel or if alterations are made.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Noburger king is not really busy to be fair only weekends.the building that is preposed is too big for the plot and seems like an overdevelopment.in a fair world i wish the old pub was back as it was but that will never be so some improvement to the area has got to be better than burger king but traffic will be a big issue for the area. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0
