Why do people obsess about old threads re-emerging?
There are many ways you can end up in a very old thread. Apart form Google there are always links from thread to thread within a site and it's not difficult to end up on a long buried example.
What the obsessors do is keep prodding the thread as if it's evidence of some weird conspiracy, thus ensuring that what would have been a very short re-emergence spends hour - sometimes days - on the front page.
Chill out and relax, guys, an old thread isn't going to bite you.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Same at Queen Elizabeth's Coronation. The streets were blocked all day and it took forever to get from Euston to Waterloo. I really think that traffic management should be improved. Sheeeeesh!!!!0
