Carphone warehouse havent put contract over to o2?

Got new contract with 02 via cpw. Sim and phone deal. Sim wont activate contacted o2 who stated they have no record of contract. Rang CPW and they said it was an error when they were putting contract through system. Comfirmed it had been done again (this was at 10am this morning) advised it could take up to 24 hours to activate.

I rang o2 at 5.30pm to check it was through because they told me once CPW does it, they can see it in around 15 mins. O2 still have no record and they implied this was not the first time CPW done this.

The o2 guy said he would say nothing and phone back in 48 hours, if o2 still dont have a record of it then thats it. He said i already domemthe decent thing by ringing them the first time and if it was him he wouldnt. Anyone else had this happen and what should i do?

I'd chuck a gifgaf sim in the handset and put the contract amount in a jar for when they come knocking for there money. If after 6 months they this havent sorted it out I'd treat myself with the money.

Not a bad idea! O2 said its o2 that bills me not CPW and if they dont have a record of me then they wont know to bill me. They said CPW wont know that o2 arent billing me as they dont have those details on their system. Twice i was on with o2 and 2 different people told me to say nothing!

I dont feel bad because i did ring them and tell them and they still didnt complete it properly. If it works out i have a new 4s!
