my contract is coming to an end and i have been looking about and found some better deals with other networks. If i ring up orange to ask for my Porting Authorisation Code will this cancel my contract or will it still run untill the end date of my contract? its just i rang up earlier to see how much it would be to cancel my contract and was told it would be £65.96 to buy out of my contract but £61.25 if i wanted to upgrade but the phone that i was wanting would cost me £45 on off payment too?!? nothing like looking after your long time customers:mad:

Request the PAC 30 days before the end of the minimum term and use 2-3 days before the end to avoid the early termination fees.
You're likely to get a call from retentions after you get your PAC, they might be able to offer you a better deal than what you've already been offered.its just i rang up earlier to see how much it would be to cancel my contract and was told it would be £65.96 to buy out of my contract but £61.25 if i wanted to upgrade but the phone that i was wanting would cost me £45 on off payment too?!? nothing like looking after your long time customers:mad:0 -

The contract will run until you use the PAC or it will continue if you don't use it within 30 days. Networks don't care about loyalty and nor should you. What phone are you after and how much minutes/texts/data do you need?
i was looking at the iphone 4s, i currently have a blackberry with unlimited texts, 500mins and unlimited internet. was looking for something similar for the iphone 4s0 -
