Orange problems/complaints

Unfortunately took on an Orange monthly contract thinking their customer services had improved wrong. Send them an email no one contacts you back or you get a message from "webpaymother" saying their email system is not working again So you try ringing and personally after 10 minutes hanging on I give up, as I have a life!

I have a long list of outstanding issues from
- sold the wrong contract, to much web at 1gb when it always access wifi first. The monthly charge is fine.
- swapables not working
- poor coverage in a "very good" area
- not getting phone calls as "not contactable" then not getting the messages until next day.
- Texts taking hours to get there and be recieved, not good when your wife was in hospital
-not being able to join up accounts(mobile broadband)
etc etc

Has someone got a phone number or email address that I can get some response from please.

Thank you
Gordon

Orange prefer to receive queries by phone, 150 from an Orange pay monthly phone. It does take ages to get through, I admit.

I have also found the address below for them if that helps:

    Orange Customer Care
    Orange UK Plc
    PO Box 486
    Rotherham
    S63 5ZX

I managed, eventually, to merge a mobile broadband account with my mobile phone account. They ended up messing both accounts up, I got charged fees for missed payments and got very angry about the whole thing. Everyone at Orange that I spoke to us was helpful, but their back office let them down. I even had to fight to get the Goodwill Gestures honoured and applied to the account!

According to http://www.saynoto0870.com there is a Mobile Customer Relations department on 0800 0790272. I've never used it, so can't vouch for it. Not sure if this would be chargeable from a mobile!

Personally I find it depends what time you call them - i've had long waits and short waits , just like any other CS department.

10 minutes is not that long these days, if your problems are important you'd hold a little longer.

Is the amount of data on the contract wrong or just far more than you need? If its the latter then there isn't much they can do to guess how much time you will spend on wifi. Did they advise the amount of data you should take or did you ask for it? If the price is ok then whats the problem anyway?
