Concert tickets on ebay

I heard on the radio that if the organisers/box office managers of events or shows see tickets listed on ebay, and if they have the right info eg seat no, row, date etc as they are meant to then it's likely that the organisers will in future refund the money to the original purchaser - they'll know who that is by the info they give in the listing - and re-sell the ticket to someone else via an authorised method. You could end up buying a ticket that even the vendoe doesn't know is now invalid.
