Are you using Windows 7? If so, you have built in tutorials to help with most stuff.
Start --> (look in RH column for "Help and Support") --> click it --> (look at top for the Search Box) --> type a short version of what you want to know.
Use Windows' own tools, you paid for them when you bought the PC with the Operating System installed. I used this a lot to teach myself how to do stuff in Windows; and I copied stuff from it into a document (mine is Open Office, but if you have Word, that works too.) This made me a Tutorial File and I use it when stuck.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

googler- i will have a look, sometimes its just knwing where to start. even considered getting the which? computer thing.
