    Thanks for the update yummymummy, it's good to have an update. Mine are for small amounts, and I expect they will rectify themselves in time.

    No matter what the real reason I doubt that Paypal would admit that it is their fault.

    If Visa sent chargebacks out in error it's not Paypal's fault!

    Thought I'd update - it's all been closed with no action against me, and no emails either - only noticed when I checked its status online. This is what it says:

    We have completed our investigation. After reviewing the details of this case, we have determined that it is unlikely that we will be able to successfully dispute this chargeback. This matter has been resolved and no funds were debited from your account for this chargeback.

    Not sure what it means but hasn't affected my account I don't think. Hope all OK for everyone else!
