Nope even worse with LBSL, if they cant get MTD from previous supplier or mop the set the site as de-energised. Causing loads of problems for next mop. for some reason they wont visit site if they cant get MTD so god knows how they are billing... :rotfl: thats mop and supplier sides of them...

I know EDF caused a lot of this over a few years as they sent a short D0150 to LBSL and their system just kicks that D0150 straight back out to the supplier.

Another issue EDF caused, they kept removing meters from their systems using the de-appointment date as a removal date. It didn't cause LBSL any issues though as they only went to the supplier. That went on for around 2 years and it brought Elexon in twice.

If its recent, I think is could be to do with the supplier but its nonsensical since they need to correct it again to properly bill. That incoming D0150 is also likely to trigger an automated update into MPAS as D. If they are doing this, hopefully Elexon will kick them all up the backside and turn it into a Problem Pro Format and spend years monitoring them over it.

Whatever it is, I hope the MOP's raise it and get Elexon onto them, the help desk is there for such complaints as are the OSM's.

I think they have something wrong with their system, that just de-energises these sites sure they are using some in house software to deal with DTN flows (obviously isn't working well). Well that's how Npower explained it to me.

I've started to give up with elexon lately, they punish some of us for following rules too rigorously, yet people who cant follow the BSCs can get away with issues... :rotfl: I've challenged them twice over this lately and still awaiting a response three months down the line.

You cant even follow some of the BSCs unless your a ex-dno mop and using information from your own dno systems ( which obviously you shouldnt be doing... )

I seem to recall an issue like this when they first started but it was fixed. It didn't continue if it was an issue though, would have seen them loads of them.

Perhaps its a recent system issue? I'm not involved in data flow areas at the moment.

LBSL have an escalation manager that the suppliers use for anything like this.

Depends who you spoke to at the supplier, many don't understand flows properly and some depths are politically motivated to achieve results by bending/breaking policies...so wont' divulge it.

Elexon can be a pain if its not on their hit list. I don't find their OSM's very knowledgeable either.

I'm lucky that almost any contact I have with suppliers is with dedicated smart metering or data-flow teams so they know what their on about. Well let me say this the Elexon person i have contact with is quite high up. ah well
