No debts. No credit cards. No store cards. No mortgage. No CCJs. High credit rating intact. Living frugally. Want to start business soon. Trying to keep head above water; while standing on own feet; staying within the law; and not falling into debt. Looking to raise income, who isn't?

Open phone, remove battery, remove SIM, replace SIM, replace battery, switch on (you may need the phone PIN), phone will reboot and hopefully register itself and its SIM properly.
Otherwise try the SIM in another O2 or unlocked phone; if the SIM is faulty O2 should be able to send you a new one with the same phone number and carry any credit over.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Tried to contact my brother who is on O2 last night and number not recognised. After checking their service status site I discovered the mast in his area was down.
Just rechecked and all ok now so it may have been just a service outage for you as well.
Good luck with the date!0 -
Thank you all so much, that worked. Sim and battery out, then back in and I could top up. It must have been when the O2 network had a break, that it then needed to be reset. No debts. No credit cards.
