T-mobile repar - out of warranty, BUT IT ISN'T!!

Hello everyone, this is my first post so please be gentle
Basically. I have a T-mobile contract with a Blackberry 9300. I am still within my one year warranty.
Over the past few months the trackpad has become almost non-functional, and the battery life was atrocious.
I had finally had enough and put it in for repair, being told in-store that the 2 faults were covered by my manufacturers warranty.
Several days later I am informed they have found a fault - (NOT one of the two I wanted fixed), but that a small 'Convenience Key' is also broken.
This does not apparently fall under my warranty and it will cost £111.26 to fix!!!!
Got the phone returned, two weeks later - unrepaired.
I purchased insurance through T-Mobile, called 'Fonesafe' at £6.99 a month.
They cannot fix 'Electrical or mechanical breakdown within your warranty'

I am absolutely flabbergasted and cannot believe I've got no way of getting this phone fixed EVENTHOUGH I'm covered!!!!

Please help! Missing my baby Blackberry!

Take it back to the same store that agreed it was faulty and get them to deal with it. Get them to put the faults in writing and get them to confirm in writing that this is covered by warranty. then get it sent off again with a letter saying that if the identified faults are not fixed then you will have the phone fixed by a contractor of your choice and take them to court to recover the costs.
