Sorry guys, but this is a 2007 budget calculator not 2008! I cannot find one yet to take into account the tax changes for April 2008.

Depending on how much alcohol I buy (is that meant to be drinks in the pub or at home - great difference between several glasses of wine out and a bottle at home :p).. I will be somewhere between £2 and £12 a year better off :rotfl:
Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012.

£95 a year better off which is better in my pocket than anyone elses.

Also, if the proposed changes to the Council Tax proceed in Scotland, I should be about £450 a year better off because of that.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
  • £1500 better off apparently mostly tax credits. Be nice if it works that way.

I'll be £112 better off, only I doubt it, no doubt they'll bring in a 'better off in the budget' tax or something to take it away again.

£291/year better off purely because of the tax & NI thresholds.
