The theiving ****** is stealing £300 of our money next year.
One high salary and one low salary earner means the lower paid person will pay more tax due to the 10% band going, and not getting anything back as the other "earns too much"0 -
The BBC budget calculator doesn't cover everything.I works our out and although I'm £150 up this year I lose it all next year plus extra. My wife comes off worse but then her employers are trying to force them into a 72p per hour paycut. I still don't believe his inflation rate considering I worked out ours to be 7% and only a 2.5% payrise for me.Petrol has already gone up 5p a litre (Prescot's Tesco) this morning and that wasn't supposed to be touched until October!"As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns; The ones we don't know we don't know."

Used that table and says I will save 46.70 Income Tax and 23.10 NI. Get 36.40 CHB but extra 854 in Tax Credits. Where on earth has that come from? Only mentioned 50 increase in Child Tax Credit in budget didn't they. Haven't seen any other increases elsewhere!
It's all soooo confusing! LOL
Can someone try and explain in English please??!
Works out we are supposed to be 959.70 better off this year. Sounds brill but only works out as around 15 per week! LMAO
