I spent 6 weeks dealing with aol customer services (not a realistic moniker that) I was lied to on several occasions, also promised I would be called back when I complained re the cost of calls.(never happened) I also discovered 'unlimited' downloads means 60gb a month in aol's eyes (If that's fair usage why not sell it as a 60gb service?) I pay for a 2mb line and have never got a speed exceeding 0.5mb. Out of desperation I contacted the ISPA at http://www.ispa.org.uk/cgi-bin/complaints.cgi I was told someone would contact me within 5 days, sure enough I received a call from aol today... I am now free to migrate without charges and aol have refunded 2 months fees and are finally upgrading me to adsl max. I intend to see what my maximum line speed is then probably try madasafish. I was told by aol that they are tied by ISPA and cannot lie any more because ISPA will track it, just shows the level of care and respect for customers is zero, but I cannot thank ISPA enough... They truly do what they say! :j :T
