MSE weekly email and Bill Monitor - password details???
hia. just received the MSE weekly email and thought i'd have a look at the bill monitor site to look at my mobile usuage etc but was a bit wary about entering my password details for my mobile account on a third party website. anyone from, MSE care to verify its legit please?

I've tried it after viewing their T&Cs but I would recommend changing your password afterwards just in case. Service isn't perfect though - if you have a year or so left on your contract you get a message saying you have a year or so left on your contract and so can't change (I think I knew that already thanks). It does let you see alternatives but it offered me the one I have now but with a worse phone and when I changed it to a handset I might actually want, it just came back with the same result and still listed the original phone. Hmm some bugs to iron out methinks. It presents the usage data fairly well but nothing I can't get as easily or as prettily (if not better) from the telco website so overall not impressed,
As with all these services, if they're free, you have to remember that effectively you are the product (or rather your data is) whether it's anonymised and aggregated or not. You have to make the judgement call as to whether the quid pro quo is a reasonable one.0
