Speaking of which, if you are still working at Marks & Spencer, are you paying into pension scheme? That would be worth doing... In fact, after reading pension scheme booklet, it seems to me unbelievably stupid not to.

Annual Management Charge is 0.05% and only applies to £30,000.
Employer's contribution is 6% for first two years if you pay in 3% and 12% if you pay in 6% after two years service.
Fund Charges are between 0.08% to 0.55% at the moment.

I am still stunned at how better some workplace pension scheme are... :( *sulks about his employer's minimum standard pension scheme*

It would help you a lot when you finally retire with nice pension pot in few decades. :)

    Cheers

    Reminds me of this quote

When I was sixteen, my father was the most ignorant man in the world. By the time I reached 21, I was surprised at how much he had learned in five years.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

I can save 350 a month for 1 year plus 1500 grand is 4500 saved plus no interest added. What you think i want to live but work less hours and not change my job
this person should be getting a tidy sum in interest as he says he has £1,500,000 - isn't that what he means by 1500 grand?

there again his english/spelling isn't up to much:

"There must be a way, e.g live of interest and work park time any more suggestions like this "

i'm no great shakes at this but i think any suggestions that soul boy gets a better paid job is not an option

    just an observation

This is what people normally do as they get more experienced - - find themselves a job/occupation that pays more. Nothing unusual about that.

But you have to have your wits about you if you want to succeed. Asking questions like the following don't instill much confidence, tbh

    1) I have a cash ISA I earn 3% intrest and I have £1000 (1 thousand pounds) in it, how much will i earn in one year?

Please can you leave the sum so I can work it out on other amounts.

    2) Also in a normal saving account with 3% intrest How much money will I make on a £1000 (1 thousand pounds) taking away tax

    3) How much money will i need in "normal" saving account with 3% intrest to earn £10000 (10 thousand pounds) intrest each year

If i Invest £300 a month and get 8%, How much will I have at end of the year(what is the calculation), is it better then a 4% ISA with a lum sum of £1000 and £100 each month.

How do i work out how much tax i pay

I am not saying that all those questions are irrelevant (though at least one is), but if you don't have the initiative/skill to work out the answers for yourself, you will most likely have rather limited options. Sorry.

Phone up your employer and ask for the Retentions Department.
Say that you've got this better offer elsewhere and you're thinking of leaving. Ask if they can cut a deal, maybe throw in free line rental.

    Well, it works for phones.

You need to slow down. 45 hours a week. That's too much.

If you don't want to quit your job, go on the sick for a while.

Go see your GP, say you can't sleep. Pick an object on the doc's desk and stare at it the whole time. He'll sign you off for a long, long time, so you can chill out.
    Perfect every time

There are plenty of ways to earn income to supplement or replace your job income. You've got to pick one (and savings/investments isn't the place), try it, see where it gets you, and if the answer is "nowhere" then try another one. It's going to take time and effort, but at the end of the day what you're talking about really is becoming self-employed but you have to find that niche.

So the first question is, what do you spend the rest of your time doing, and how much time can you put into making money?

There's a million* websites out there with money-making ideas, some are just rubbish, some make money by telling you how to make money ("make money from premium rate phone lines, call 0898 xxxxxx to find out how") but there is some useful information out there.

    (* - probably more actually)
