What is with the 'bragging' on Orange's website about delivery to store "only" costing 1 penny?

Are they taking the !!!! of do they really think this is a good deal?

They have item's (like most business's) delivered to their stores every day, why charge 1 penny?!!!

Stupid.

I thought it was a bit random too... it's also strange that they take deposits on certain phones like the galaxy s3 =/

They've always changed 1p for reports.

I'd think they take the deposit on the Galaxy s3 as an anti fraud measure as it's a new, high value device. It tends to weed out the petty fraudsters.

I'm still recovering from the shock of seeing Orange's TV adverts a few years ago where they offered something (texts?) for one pence!
