if the form of authority wasnt valid then how could they accept your instruction to investigate the claim
which you won
but they investigated anyway and ignored the CMC, so this was in the customers best interest. hardly a dirty trick.0 -

How is this a dirty trick? The claim was lodged, the bank investigated - the bank is just querying the bit of the request where it says the CMC is to be involved. I suspect it's less to do with "customer's best interest" and more to do with not wanting to breach any data protection / privacy regulations, though...
Either way, not a dirty trick at all - this time!0 -

It's a dirty trick in his eyes as he works for a claims company and the claims company in this case is being left out of the loop.
Anyone feeling sorry for the claims company? i doubt it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Yeah, just seen some of his other posts, my bad. On the plus side, he's giving a really good example of just why people shouldn't turn to a CMC for "help" - I believe the term is "Epic fail".0 -
