I'm due to be debt free by the 26th September. I'll be taking the rest of the year off and spending on new clothes, trips away, meals out and everything we've missed in the last 2 years.

Come January the £1200 a month will be split between savings, pension and new house fund.

Hell yes! on the treating myself. Hoping to be debt free either this month or next. And I've decided I shall treat myself to a haircut :j - its been 2 years since the last one!

After that I'll be moving from paying off debt to paying into savings, so that I can buy things I want with actual money, that I actually have :)

I will, have no idea when debt free date will be, as I don't exactly have a steady income, so can't really plan to pay off the same amount each month.

But I want to go to USA to watch NASCAR at Daytona. So this is the plan to do this, when I'm debt free, and I'll have saved up for it as well. Well purchased on credit card, then paid off straight away.

But I also have to go to South Africa in 2 years for my brother's wedding, so this might push back my debt free date back, if I'm not debt free by then!

Honestly, I'm likely gonna be in debt for the rest of my life, no thanks to student loans. (Some of you probably know how notorious American universities are.) But as far as credit card & other debt, I'm hoping to be done with those within the next 3-5 years. I'd probably treat myself to a nice long trip to an island country.

In terms of things I don't need but want, I'll be forking out for a tablet and a sparkly new phone!!

We'll also be saving for me to take drivings lessons etc so I can actually get a s*dding job and redecorating the flat which are bigger and less of a want and more of a need. Despite the fact we don't need to redecorate in terms of there are no problems - in terms of making it our home we do.

Just a nice shiny new kitchen, and a few new bits of furniture would be nice :) as at the moment all the furniture is mine and so it doesn't really feel like our home y'know?

Whilst I was in debt, I could think of lots of things to treat myself to, but since becoming newly debt free, I don't want them any more. So for me I think a nice holiday and then Christmas without having to worry about what I spend.

New clothes. A new(ish) car and start saving for a mortgage.

I will finally be debt free in September this year after a 4.5 year battle. The feeling is amazing now that I am virtually at the end. I am going to take the financial lessons I have learnt and make my future something wonderful

    Well comfortable at least :-)

I've always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon. After that a new (secondhand) car, and then a holiday which seems to be what a lot of people would like!
