went to paris last year stayed at a holiday apartment was quite nice and quite near to eiffel tower and some other places to visit, found it at http://www.only-apartments.com- apartment name was Tour Eiffel 4 or 2 not sure , but they are owned by same owner. Can recommend it.

A lovely but very basic place is called MIGE. Rooms are spotless and have everything you need (but no trimmings). Breakfast is horrible but is included in the price.0
