i'm not sure really regardinghow to know, but when my hubby used a smaller cuff it seemed so tight as if the velcro was trying to come loose when in was inflating ,
i'd be curious to know if if gave a wrong reading if a x large cuff was used on a smaller arm,0 -
I've had an Omron for years, which seems very reliable (I'd like to say it reads high, but I suspect it's me not the monitor!)Signature removed for peace of mind0

Mines always on the low side - yesterday 111/69, which I am sure makes me feel tired a lot of the time, but doctors only seem to think high blood pressure is a problem.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
