I have been with O2 for several years and have on the whole been satisified with service received, however I am now moving to a village in the Yorkshire Dales where O2 users are unable to get a signal, will I be able to terminate my contract without paying a fee? as they are no longer able to provide me with a mobile phone service and are therfore in my opinion in breach of contract.

Are you out if your initial contract period? If so give them 30 days notice or if you wish to keep your number ask for a PAC code and use it before end of the 30 days otherwise it will lapse and you will need to give notice / get a PAC again.

Your terms state you accept that they're unable to provide 100% coverage so you are better to provide notice to cancel, and take your number.
