Veggie on BA

I am flying to Barcelona at the weekend and cannot book seats/meals etc till 24 hours beforehand.
As a veggie, what is served for breakfast on these short flights (take off 7.00am). Can you book veggie snacks or is it best to just take our own so as to be sure.

Last time i flew BA the veggie 'meal' was indescribable. I still have no idea what it actually was. I don't think I want to!If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

I'm not even sure there is a veggie option for short haul breakfast any more in the cheap seats. You may find that it is limited to tea/coffee and a muffin.
I'd just make sure that you get something to eat before the flight. There are plenty of options at Heathrow0 -
For all the distance you are going it is not worth worrying about!travelover0

Yes I thought that as well, by the time you get on, it will be time to get off again!!!:)0 -
There is no breakfast as such (and nothing more than a drink and 2 chocolate biscuits later in the day) but there will be a breakfast panini/bagette, it was sausage and tomato this weekend (grim) but they now always carry a number of vegetarian panini's as well. Cannnot say they will taste any better, certainly doubt they could taste worse, but if you sit towards the front of the economy cabin you should be able to get one. If you are really starving, eat before boarding0

We flew on an early flight to Rome and it was a sausage and egg bun thing I think. Or might have been bacon. So not good for veggies - or me either as I dont like either of those! I just waited til we landed.0

If you have time, having a look here may give some idea, but you'll have to look for a vegetarian meal on a flight to Barcelona (or other short-haul European destination).
