I don't go off CDC scales.

Because I already had a load of packs leftover from a previous (unsuccessful) attempt I started 8 days before I went to the CDC. My scales are about 3lbs lighter than CDC's, but I think that is partly because at home I weigh myself first thing in the morning - naked - before I have a shower and eat / drink anything.

Oh and I always hold my stomach in when I get on the scales - I'm sure that helps.

i think i'm going to hide my scales when i get home... i was confident of a loss this week as well, so not falling for that one again....

Sue - try on them jeans, you'll kick yourself if you wait to long and find it's too big and if they are too tight, then you put them away for a couple of weeks and try them again.... if 16's are falling down, 14's will fasten even if they could "fit" better...!

This skirt is tight-ish, but it's wearable...

Thanks Alpha, I am feeling much better this week. Although I havent dropped a load of Lbsss, I think my body has realised that overall it's lost a few and has joined in with the scales.
I have to say I think the exercise is really helping my mood and keeping me focused. Dunc and I had a great walk on Saturday, around the fields and through the countryside, the sun was out, (most of the time) felt wonderful when we got back.

How are you feeling after your stressful day?
Better I hope, and ready to face another week.

Much much better thank you. feeling focused again and detrmined that although i think i have had enough of what is stressing me i will not let it get to me again!

I walked my two this morning and they were ever so good and walked beautifully (been teaching them not to pull and to heel) which is making walking them much more pleasurable for me!

Got your pm thank you :)

i wish i could get my boys to walk on the lead but they are too used to getting to run free.... Big ole moss is okay, he'll plod along with you but doesn't like it, little emo dog brogan just cowers and gets you all tangled, then pulls you, and then cowers when you check him for pulling.... pointless exercise!

and god help ya if you decided only to take big ole moss out for easiness sake and left "emodog" at home.... he'd need the number for childline when you got back....!

I can't let Dunc off the lead when we are on our own. He is great most of the time, will walk to heel, sit, lie down, stay, but as soon as he sees another dog he just loses the plot and won't come back.

Even when he is on the lead, he will walk along all lovely to heel, then just suddenly he can't stand it any more and launches himself at the other dog passing by. Then afterwards he goes all guilty looking, cos he knows he shouldn't.
Come to think about it, its a bit like us on CD and Fridges don't you think:rotfl::rotfl:We walk on by with all good intentions then suddenly just disengage the brain and dive on in, only to feel like crap afterwards.

lol! you guys made me laugh!!

i had to work hard this morning because he lets his dog get away with murder and i think mine was showing off ''look at me heeling, i am so good for my mummy'' and his dog was trying to walk on the otherside of the road

both are pretty good on and off aside from launching at other dogs of course ;)

mine dont like being separated either and i really would just like to leave the crippled one at home so i can do more with the other, what was the number for child line again? :D
