I don't think I've cried so much since Lassie

I watched 'Hachi: A Dog's Tale' this afternoon.
I was in floods and even after the film finished, I couldn't stop thinking about that loyal soul who kept up hope that he would see his master again for 9 years day in day out and in all weathers.
I always seem to be more touched by animal films than anything else. I feel bothered and upset by human cruelty too but animal hurt or sadness really makes me weep.
What films have affected you?

Hachi is a fantastic film. I cried like a baby too. Marley and Me was a wonderful film too as was Warhorse. Warhorse is my favourite though and even although I've watched it 3 times I still cry!Never look down on anyone unless you are bending to help them up.....0

Eight Below makes me cry, it was based on a true story0

I've got Marley & Me on the sky planner, going to watch next week so will have tissues at the ready!
I always cry at Dead Poet's Society, but more recently Toy Story 3. bawled my eyes out in the cinema and then watched it on DVD Friday for first time since then and blubbed again. It came out just as DS1 was leaving to go to uni, and I have such vivid recollections of him playing with Buzz and Woody as a child that it really hit a nerve with me0 -

My Sister's Keeper made me weep like a baby as well. Although to be fair, it doesn't take much.0 -
Grave of the Fireflies - I watched that and didn't think I'd ever be happy again

Watership Down
The Incredible Journey (the original Homeward Bound) - I don't particularly like cats but I howled when the siamese was being swept down the river.
Old Yeller
My Dog Skip - never got past the trailer as it reminded me of my much loved and departed jack russell and I was howling at the advert for the film.
I;m another one who can cry buckets at an animal story but is fairly unmoved by anything else. Not sure what that says about me?:oNO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
